There was plenty of excitement, and a little extra ribbon to cut, as Franklin Cub Academy officially celebrated its opening on Saturday, August 29.
Families, current and former educators, community partners, and friends of the district gathered to tour the new preschool and celebrate this exciting addition to the community.
Following the traditional ribbon cutting, our youngest guests had the opportunity to take part in the fun with a ribbon cutting of their own!
Franklin Cub Academy welcomed its first students on August 5, providing a dedicated space where young children can learn, explore, play, and grow. The new center offers preschool opportunities for families while bringing together classes that were previously spread across the district under one roof.
From flexible classrooms to hands-on learning spaces, every part of Franklin Cub Academy was designed with our youngest learners in mind. The result is a place where academics and play go hand in hand, and where children can build the skills, confidence, and curiosity they need to take their next steps toward kindergarten and beyond.
Saturday’s celebration was a wonderful reminder that Franklin’s youngest learners have a community cheering them on from the very beginning. We are grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate this exciting new chapter for Franklin Community Schools and Franklin Cub Academy!
