Cub Academy is a quality preschool in Franklin, Indiana. We are located in three location and operated by Franklin Community Schools.
Indiana’s Early Learning Standards are a developmental continuum and align to the Indiana Academic Standards. The standards provide core elements that children should achieve from birth to age five to be ready for future success.
The standards set forth common language and expectations for all staff working in early care and education. In 2023 the standards were revised based on research, feedback from practitioners, and work from professionals with expertise in each specialized area and formally adopted by the State Board of Education.

Half Day Program

Immunization Records
- We are committed to your child's academic, social and emotional growth.
- Our preschool classrooms provide a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
- Learning experiences, including hands on, will develop independence, curiosity , decision-making, cooperation, creativity and problem-solving.
- We accept 3-5-year-olds who are potty trained.
- We follow the Franklin Community Schools calendar.
- We do not have financial assistance or a sliding scale for payment. The financial contract does have a bi-weekly, monthly or annual option for tuition payment.
Cub Academy Preschool
Delay/Closure Information
In the event of a two-hour delay, Cub Academy will not have morning daycare from 6:45 to 8:30 a.m.
Preschool will start at 8:30 a.m. and resume the normal preschool and daycare hours.
In the event of an eLearning Day or if school is closed, Cub Academy is closed.
Developmental Preschool
Delay/Closure Information
In the event of a two-hour delay, there will be no morning Developmental Preschool.
Afternoon Developmental Preschool will begin at its normal time from 11:45 a.m. to 2:20 p.m.
