Our 8th Grade Boys basketball team won last night in the Semi-Final round of the Mid-State conference and will take on Paul Hadley Middle School in the Finals. The Finals will be played here at FCMS at approximately 6:45. In the 7th grade final Clark Pleasant will take on Plainfield at 5:30 also here at FCMS. Come out and support our Cubs. 
Yearbook order forms can be turned in to Ms. Wilson in the art room or to Mrs. Heiney in Guidance before school. The cost is $22 with your name on the front or $20 without your name. For the easiest way to order, check out the link on the FCMS facebook page or the FCMS website! Last day for paper forms is due February 17. Online orders end on March 10th. 
Attention students!  If you are interested in Science Technology, Engineering, or Math, there is an after school club for you! Youth Connections is offering a FREE after school club to FCMS Students after school on Wednesdays. As a part of this club, you would get to do STEM projects, go on a few field trips, and have fun with friends. If you are interested, please stop by the Guidance office for more information. 
FCMS DI will meet on Friday, Feb 24th to have 1 last run through of the challenge and load the vehicle(s).
Competitions are all day on a Saturday:
February 25, 2017 – Regionals North (Churubusco)

March 11, 2017 – Snow Date Regionals (Churubusco)

If qualify from Regionals then: April 22, 2017 – Affiliate Finals (Fishers, IN)
Transportation will be on your own or carpool with other team member(s). At least 1 parent is needed to work the competition for a couple hours for the team to be able to compete.

Any students who have not picked up a 21st Scholars app yet, we have extra located in the Guidance Office. It’s a simple application to apply for FREE COLLEGE TUITION if you qualify!!!
YEARBOOK INFO: There are still last years, 2015-2016 yearbooks available to buy in the main office. The cost is $20.
The Cub Pantry is now open corporation wide (grades K-12). The only criteria for visiting the Cub Pantry is having a student who attends the Franklin Community School Corporation. Parents and caregivers must bring photo ID. Please enter door 24S at FCMS and follow the signs to room B128 where the pantry is housed.
